A story built on family and flavour
RAYS, Lyallpur — The Beginning
Our father opened a small hotel and restaurant in Lyallpur (now Faisalabad), Pakistan. Food was a shared passion in our household, and those early years taught us the values that still guide us: honest hospitality, hard work, and the belief that good food should never be compromised.
1975
Copper Kettle — Mesa, Arizona
One of our own moved to Arizona in 1997 and spotted a gap — no authentic Indo-Pak restaurant focused on fresh, homestyle Halal cooking. Copper Kettle opened in 1998 and quickly became a community favourite. A second location near Arizona State University followed in 2003.
1998
ZamZam World Foods — Born
Restaurant knowledge led us into retail. Our first supermarket opened in Phoenix; a second followed in Chandler in 2013. Twelve years of running both restaurants and grocery stores taught us one thing above all: the supply chain is everything.
2008
Curry Corner — A New Chapter
After the original Copper Kettle Express was taken down, we rebranded as Curry Corner — a new name, a fresh space, the same passion. Featured on Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives in 2013. Today, Curry Corner continues in Gilbert, Arizona.
